We are looking for a Finance Controller to build and own our end-to-end financial operations as we scale rapidly. This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and business strategy.
You will be responsible for:

- Bringing financial discipline
- Ensuring clean processes (PO–GRN–Invoice–Payment)
- Managing vendor payments and cash flow
- Building actionable MIS across product, category, and operations

This is a high ownership role with direct visibility to the founder and leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Control & Process Setup
- Establish and enforce 3-way matching (PO–GRN–Invoice)
- Build and streamline purchase-to-payment workflows
- Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Maintain clean vendor ledgers and expense tracking systems
- Drive audit readiness and compliance processes
2. Vendor Payments & Cash Flow Management
- Prepare and manage weekly payment plans




- Prioritise vendor payments based on cash flow and business needs
- Handle vendor communication for payment timelines and negotiations
- Ensure no duplicate or incorrect payments
- Improve and manage working capital cycles
3. MIS & Business Insights
- Build and own weekly/monthly MIS dashboards
- Track:
- SKU-level margins
- Category profitability
- Raw material cost trends
- Wastage and efficiency metrics
- Store/channel performance
- Translate financial data into actionable insights for business decisions
4. ERP & Data Integrity
- Own accuracy and structure of ERP/accounting data
- Work with internal teams to ensure clean data flows
- Build reporting frameworks from ERP outputs
5. Team & Cross-functional Coordination

- Manage and guide:
- Accounts Executive (data entry)
- Reconciliation Executive
- Work closely with:
- Purchase team
- Warehouse
- Production
- Operations

What We're Looking For
Experience

- 5–8 years in finance roles (FMCG / manufacturing / D2 C preferred)
- Experience in vendor payments, reconciliations, and MIS reporting
- Strong understanding of operational finance

Skills

- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Comfortable working with ERP systems
- Ability to handle vendor conversations confidently
- Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Education (Adaptable)
- B. Com / M. Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter
