We envision:High-impact innovation hubs shaping global product and technology roadmapsCenters that go beyond support functions to drive core engineering and platform development.Sustainable, scalable ecosystems that nurture world-class Med Tech talentCapability centers that directly influence patient outcomes worldwideAt its core, the ANSR Med Tech Capability Center is about enabling innovation that touches lives at scale.Position description:This position will report to the Director of Lab Operations within the Systems Engineering department and will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and day-to-day function of a highly active R&D; laboratory environment. The main objective of this position will be ensuring operation and preparation of mission critical equipment, capacity, and supply to promote robust medical device design development and evaluations.Responsibilities:Maintain laboratory equipment by scheduling regular maintenance, interfacing with facilities, service technicians and responding to equipment issues.Establish and enforce lab safety and housekeeping practices by reviewing best practices,



interfacing with engineers to determine special needs.Establish, implement, and enforce laboratory processes and safety procedures.Maintain inventory of supplies and tools, placing and expediting purchase orders for supplies.Work with QA to manage calibration schedules and tool files for all lab equipment by creating tool files for current equipment, scheduling calibrations, maintaining proper equipment labeling,reviewing and updating tool files.Provide training, guidance and assistance to all applicable personnel on use of lab equipment.Independently perform routine and advanced technician tasks deploying standard and advanced techniques.Independently lead laboratory projects or initiatives of moderate complexity.Assist and mentor other technicians with product testing and evaluations as needed.Completes troubleshooting of technical issues through application of basic principles, theories, and concepts.Maintain chemical storage and MSDS's on all chemicals in lab.Manage licenses on all lab specific software tools.Manage storage and disposal of hazardous wastes.Interface with IT to ensure proper lab computer systems and network capabilities.Required Skills:Technical and Operational:Experience supporting laboratory or engineering environmentsStrong troubleshooting and equipment maintenance capabilitiesKnowledge of inventory management and procurement processesFamiliarity with lab safety practices and compliance requirementsUnderstanding of calibration, documentation,



and regulated environmentsLeadership and Management:Experience leading or mentoring technical teamsAbility to coach, develop, and manage performanceStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to balance hands-on work with leadership responsibilitiesCommunication and Collaboration:Clear written and verbal communication skillsAbility to create user-friendly documentation and training materialsStrong cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, QA, IT, and OperationsAbility to manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflictsAnalytical and Process Improvement:Attention to detail in record keeping and documentationAbility to analyze workflows and identify improvement opportunitiesData-driven decision making and prioritizationPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field or equivalent experienceExperience in a regulated environment such as Medical Device or similar industryFamiliarity with ISO 13485 and ISO 17025 standardsFamiliarity with advanced lab equipmentKnowledge of mobile platforms, lab systems, or engineering toolsExperience implementing process improvements or operational metrics trackingRole Profile:Entry-level people manager with direct team responsibilityBalanced focus on leadership, operational execution, and technical supportHands-on involvement in lab and engineering operationsStrong collaboration across Engineering, Quality, IT, and FacilitiesEducation and Experience:8–12 years of experience8+ years in laboratory environments or higher-level education combination7+ years in development labs, preferably R&D3;+ years in laboratory equipment oversightExperience with GDP documentation and logging practicesMicrosoft Office and technical writing capabilitiesAdditional focus areas:R&D; / Development lab experienceTeam handling and operational support
