Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Content Acquisition professional to drive content sourcing and licensing initiatives for our media platform. The role involves identifying content opportunities, negotiating rights agreements, managing content partnerships, and ensuring a strong pipeline of digital and media content aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Source and acquire digital, video, entertainment, and media content from studios, distributors, production houses, and content creators.
Lead end-to-end content acquisition activities including evaluation, licensing, contracting, and onboarding.
Negotiate commercial terms, content rights, exclusivity, distribution agreements, and partnership contracts.
Build and maintain relationships with content owners, aggregators, broadcasters, and strategic partners.
Assess content performance, market trends, audience preferences, and competitive offerings to support acquisition decisions.
Coordinate with legal, programming,



marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of content deals.
Manage content acquisition budgets and ensure optimal ROI on licensing investments.
Monitor content rights usage, renewal timelines, and compliance with contractual obligations.
Identify recent partnership opportunities to expand content inventory and strengthen market positioning.
Candidate Profile
5+ years of relevant experience in content acquisition, content sourcing, licensing, rights management, or media partnerships.
Strong understanding of digital content ecosystems, OTT platforms, broadcasting, and media distribution.
Proven experience in rights acquisition, contract negotiations, and commercial deal structuring.
Excellent stakeholder management and partner relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities with a business-oriented mindset.
Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
