The Interior Design Specialist will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing layouts, and creating detailed space plans aligned with project requirements and client expectations. Daily tasks include selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E;), preparing mood boards and material palettes, and coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and accurate execution of designs. The role involves conducting site visits, verifying measurements, supervising installation quality, and resolving design-related issues during project execution.



The Interior Design Specialist will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, present design proposals to clients, and maintain clear documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle.QualificationsStrong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into practical, creative design solutions.Hands-on experience with Furniture selection and layout planning, ensuring comfort, functionality, and visual cohesion.Expertise in FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specification, sourcing, and coordination with suppliers.Effective Communication skills, including presenting design concepts, collaborating with project stakeholders, and maintaining clear written documentation.Proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Revit, or similar tools for drawings, 3 D visualizations, and presentations.Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.Knowledge of materials, finishes, building codes, and industry best practices relevant to interior design projects.Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects is preferred.
