and patch Oracle databases (11g / 12c / 19c or higher).Manage and support hybrid database environments across on-premises data centers and cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / OCI).Manage production, QA, and development databases with high availability.Perform regular database health checks, backups, recovery, and maintenance activities.Monitor database performance and ensure maximum uptime.Administer and support Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) environments.Configure and maintain ASM (Automatic Storage Management).Manage Data Guard (physical & logical standby databases) for DR setup.Handle failover, switchover, and cluster troubleshooting.Optimize RAC performance and resolve interconnect/network-related issues.Design and manage RMAN backup and recovery strategies.Perform point-in-time recovery, disaster recovery testing, and restore validations.Implement database security measures including user access control, roles, privileges, and auditing.Apply quarterly security patches (CPU/PSU).Diagnose and resolve critical production issues within SLA.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents.Troubleshoot database crashes, corruption issues, and performance degradation.Work closely with infrastructure teams for OS, storage, and network-related issues.Provide guidance on best practices for database design and coding standards.Support CI/CD pipelines and automation for database deployments.Develop scripts using Shell, Python, or SQL for automation and monitoring.Automate routine DBA tasks such as backups, health checks, and alerting.Experience with tools like OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) or similar monitoring tools.Work within SLA timelines in a 24x7 support environment.
