The Company is in Hosur, has about 250 employees.The Company is TS 16949 and AS 9000 certified for automotive and aerospace parts.More than 50% of the Company's turnover is for exports. The Company is a supplier to the majority of OE manufactures in the automotive industry.The Company has been growing its top line at 20% per year and is in the top 10% of profit making companies in its segment.The Company is run by two technocrat enterpreneurs and is professionally managed. The Company maintains high ethical standards and is highly respected in the industry.This is a full-time, in office role for a General Manager Operations based in Hosur. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure the efficient and effective functioning of teams, and drive strategic goals. Responsibilities include managing general and operational functions, leading cross-departmental collaborations, optimizing workflows, managing budgets,



and ensuring high-quality customer service standards are maintained across the Company.Current work location in or near Hosur is not essential but the candidate has to relocate to Hosur or within a daily commutable distance from Hosur.The selected candidate can expect to move into the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Company within 2 or 3 years depending upon his/her performance.Employee Stock options are possible for especially deserving candidates after 1 year of excellent performance.Qualifications and ExperienceStrong engineering background, preferably mecahnical / electrical /or matallurgy with experience preferably in an automotive parts manufacturing Company.Work experience in a Deming awarded Company in a leadership role in Production/ Operations management or Head of Engineering would be a distinct advantage.Strong Team Management skills, including leadership, team building, and motivating a diverse workforce.Very good oral communication skills and analytical skills is a must.Knowlege of Tamil is essential.
