About PositionWe are hiring a Data Governance Architect / Lead with strong experience in building enterprise data governance frameworks.Role: Data Governance ArchitectLocation: PuneExperience: 10 to 15 yearsJob Type: Full Time EmploymentWhat You'll Do:Define and implement Data Governance framework, charter, operating model, and stakeholder RACIEstablish governance standards for metadata, business glossary, stewardship, classification, access, Data Quality, and policy complianceAlign governance practices with regulatory and privacy requirements including DPDP readinessLead DG tool assessment, selection, onboarding, and implementation (Collibra, Purview, Alation, Informatica, etc.)Drive onboarding of data owners and data stewards across business and technology teamsDefine governance KPIs, control metrics, audit mechanisms, and continuous improvement plansConduct governance assessments and build phased implementation roadmapsRun governance committees, stakeholder reviews, and change management initiativesCollaborate with legal, risk, security, and business leadership teamsSupport governance in cloud and lakehouse environmentsExpertise You'll Bring:Strong knowledge of enterprise Data Governance frameworks, operating models, and controlsExperience with metadata management, lineage, business glossary, and stewardshipHands-on experience with DG / DQ tools like Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Alation, InformaticaUnderstanding of data privacy, compliance, and access governance (GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA,
