Our focus is on delivering reliable, buildable, and fabrication-ready façade design solutions, working closely with contractors to meet programme, quality, and site requirements.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Facade Designer to work on glazing and cladding packages for commercial projects. The role involves producing high-quality façade drawings from concept through construction, working closely with internal teams, fabricators, and contractors.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign glazing and cladding packages for commercial developmentsProduce general arrangement drawings, including building elevations and location plansDevelop detailed drawings for façade elements in elevation, section, and detailIssue drawings for approval, coordinate design revisions, and progress packages to construction stagePrepare detailed drawings and schedules for: glazing and cladding brackets,
flashings, panels, fixings and associated componentsCoordinate drawing information to suit fabrication and site installation requirementsSoftware & ToolsAuto CAD (essential)Revit (beneficial but not essential)Autodesk Inventor (beneficial but not essential)RequirementsStrong understanding of construction methodologies, façade detailing, and erection sequencingProficient in Auto CADExperience with major aluminium system suppliers and their product ranges3–5 years' experience in façade detailing and procurementStrong attention to detail and ability to work to project deadlinesWhat We OfferHybrid working: 2 days per week working from homeEmployer contribution to Provident Fund (PF)Medical insurance for you and your familyFree façade-specific Revit training courses during working hoursExposure to complex commercial façade projects in the UK & IrelandLong-term career development within a specialist façade design team
