Business Unit Head – Industrial Machinery Components & Foundry
Location: Coimbatore
The Business Unit Head will be responsible for the overall leadership and profitability of the Industrial Machinery Components business, including Foundry and Manufacturing Operations. The role involves driving business growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and strategic expansion while ensuring productive plant operations, quality, safety, and cost management.
The incumbent will lead end-to-end functions covering Manufacturing, Foundry Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Commercials, and Business Development with full P&L; accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Drive overall Business Unit performance including revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Lead Foundry, machining, and manufacturing operations to achieve productivity, quality, delivery, and cost targets.




Strengthen customer relationships with industrial OEMs and expand business opportunities.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, continuous improvement, and modernization initiatives.
Ensure adherence to quality systems, EHS standards, and statutory compliance.
Build and develop high-performing cross-functional teams.
Desired Profile
Engineering Graduate (Mechanical/Metallurgical preferred); MBA desirable.
18+ years of experience in Foundry, Industrial Components, Heavy Engineering, or Manufacturing industries.
Strong exposure to Foundry Operations, P&L; management, and industrial customer handling.
Proven leadership capability in managing large manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams.
