Designation: Warehouse Deputy Supervisor
Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager
Location - Maddur, Karnataka
Purpose of the Role
The role is responsible for ensuring effective warehouse operations and smooth raw material inbound/outbound processes, providing timely and accurate material supply for production to avoid production delays caused by inventory management issues.
Ensure efficient and precise operations of raw material and finished product warehouses (3,000ã¡) to support the normal operation of 42 production lines. Resolve existing data management, warehouse order, and team efficiency issues in the warehouse, achieving consistency between WMS system data and actual inventory, reducing picking error rates, and improving loading/unloading timeliness compliance rates.
Build a data -driven decision -making mechanism to ensure inventory accuracy â¥99.7%, lead the reduction of slow -moving inventory to free up warehouse space, strengthen team building and management, improve team members' operational norms and work efficiency through training and demonstration operations, and build a high -performance warehouse operation team.
Lead 40 team members (including team leaders/members) to implement 6S, safety, and cost control systems. Promote cross -departmental collaboration, maintain good communication with production, procurement, quality, and other departments, reduce business frictions, and ensure the collaborative operation of each supply chain link.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Optimization Responsibility
Responsible for designing and optimizing standardized inbound/outbound processes, establishing data verification mechanisms to resolve discrepancies between records and actual inventory, and regularly evaluating process effectiveness for continuous improvement.
2. On -site Management Responsibility
Proficient in 6S management tools, organizing and implementing warehouse layout planning and visual management to ensure clear raw material classification, a complete labeling system, and maintaining good warehouse order.
3. Team Management Responsibility
Develop team training plans, compile operation manuals, enhance operational norms through demonstration operations, reasonably allocate work tasks, coordinate personnel division, and improve overall team efficiency.
4. Data Management Responsibility
Maintain high sensitivity to key indicators such as inventory discrepancies and operation timeliness, establish daily/weekly tracking mechanisms, promote closed -loop problem solving, and provide data support for management decisions.
5. Cross -departmental Collaboration Responsibility
Proactively communicate with production, procurement, quality, and other departments, coordinate business needs through data reports and regular meetings,
promptly handle cross -departmental complaints, and ensure smooth business operations.
6. Reform Promotion Responsibility
Combine local cultural characteristics to formulate and implement gradual reform measures (e.g., daily TOP 5, 15 -minute sorting system) to drive behavioral change and management improvement among employees.
7. Emergency Handling Responsibility
Develop warehouse emergency plans, respond quickly and properly to sudden issues such as inventory shortages and equipment failures, minimizing business impact.
8. Operational Management
A. Formulate monthly warehouse operation plans (receipt/issuance/storage capacity planning, workforce scheduling)
B. Supervise daily inbound/outbound operations to ensure on -time and complete delivery of materials to the cutting department and sewing team
