Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for AS & A Level students in line with Cambridge curriculum standards
- Prepare students for board examinations, including theory, structured papers, and practical understanding
- Design lesson plans that emphasize conceptual clarity, application-based learning, and critical thinking
- Support students with internal assessments and provide effective exam preparation strategies
- Use differentiated teaching approaches to address wide-ranging learning styles and abilities
- Assess student performance through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Integrate digital tools, simulations, and LMS platforms to enhance learning experiences
- Participate in curriculum planning, academic discussions, and school activities
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and academic coordinators
- Foster a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience teaching IGCSE, AS, or A Level Chemistry
- Strong understanding of Cambridge curriculum and assessment patterns
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to engage students and simplify complex scientific concepts
- Experience using technology and digital tools in teaching
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills with attention to student progress
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work with academic teams
- Exposure to international school environments or inquiry-based learning approaches (preferred)
