Job Description:
The Senior Director of Hosting
and Managed Services in the Pharmacovigilance domain will be responsible for
overseeing the strategic direction, development, and management of the hosting
and managed services portfolio within the pharmacovigilance domain. This role
requires a deep understanding of pharmacovigilance processes and regulations,
as well as extensive experience in managing hosting and managed services for
pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hosting
Services Management:
- Oversee hosting
operations to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Develop scalable
and efficient hosting strategies, optimizing resources and costs.
- Ensure
integration and consistent delivery of hosting services with IT
infrastructure.

Services Oversight:
- Manage the managed services portfolio, adhering
to client SLAs.
- Maintain operational procedures for managed
environments, including maintenance, upgrades, and incident management.
- Uphold IT service management best practices,
aligning with industry standards and compliance.
3. Post -Production
Support:
- Lead the post -production support team, ensuring
effective issue resolution.
- Establish continuous monitoring and
optimization processes for post -deployment environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations for
timely fixes, updates, and enhancements.
4. Application
Support Services:
- Implement and oversee comprehensive application
support strategies post -production, ensuring applications' operational
efficiency and reliability.
- Coordinate the resolution of
application -related issues, facilitating root cause analysis and long -term
solutions.
- Work closely with application development teams
to ensure seamless transition from development to production and support
phases.
5. Client
Interaction and Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary contact for clients
regarding hosting, managed, and post -production application support services.
- Build strong client relationships, ensuring
satisfaction and open communication for feedback and service enhancements.
- Conduct regular service performance reviews
with clients, discussing strategic planning and initiatives.
6. Team
Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the hosting,
post -production,
and application support teams, promoting a collaborative and results -driven
culture.
- Set explicit goals and KPIs, providing regular
performance feedback and support.
- Encourage team development to stay updated with
industry trends and technologies.
7. Strategic
Planning and Budget Management:
- Participate in IT strategic planning, aligning
hosting and managed services with business goals.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources
allocation aligns with financial and operational objectives.
