Responsibilities:
- Design and execute molecular biology and biochemistry experiments to address key research questions and project objectives.
- Utilize a variety of techniques such as PCR, cloning, gene expression analysis, protein purification, and enzymatic assays.
- Analyze experimental data using appropriate statistical and bioinformatics tools.
- Interpret results and draw meaningful conclusions to guide further experimentation and project direction.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and manuscripts for internal review and external publication.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
Qualifications;
- Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- For Master’s/Ph.D. degree holders: Prior research experience in molecular biology/biochemistry, demonstrated through publications or projects. For Master’s degree holders: Minimum of 2 year of relevant laboratory experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques such as PCR, cloning, Western blotting, protein expression, and purification.
- Experience with bioinformatics tools for data analysis and interpretation.
- Strong analytical and problem -solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate research efforts and achieve project milestones.
