â To do field visits to conduct participants’ interviews, validate field activities as per SOP and monitor plantation survival of the agroforestry project (field operation monitoring).
â Coordinate with the data quality team and field team for planning the data collection on the field.
â Ensure the data quality of the collected field data is correct.
â Help the Field Manager to collate data post farmer onboarding by implementation team
â Document Verification and Data Scrutiny: Review and validate data from scanned documents to ensure consistency and correctness, supporting data quality checks and finance -related tasks as needed.
â Other related duties or work as assigned by the Field Manager.
Requirements
â Bachelor’s degree and above; background in the agriculture sector, rural development, or social work is a major advantage.
â Good interpersonal skills and fluency in Hindi
â Willing to travel extensively to field locations and engage with farmers.
â Valid driver's license and a motorcycle is mandatory.
â Excellent communication and organizational skills.
â Proficiency in MS Office and Google Sheets.
â Proficiency in digital data collection tools (e.g., KoboToolbox or similar).
â Versatile, self -motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and establish harmonious relationships within communities.
â Attention to detail and ability to adapt to unstructured or fast -changing circumstances.
â Ability to manage high -level relationships with farmers.
â Ability and willingness to work in challenging field conditions.
