The position ensures supply readiness, cost competitiveness, and risk mitigation while supporting smooth transition from prototype to volume production.nn"1) Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities nu2022 Lead endu2011tou2011end NPI procurement activities for EMSu2011based projects from concept, prototyping, pilot builds, and production rampu2011up. nu2022 Develop and manage the EMS supplier ecosystem, including supplier identification, onboarding, capability assessment, and performance management. nu2022 Provide agile, responsive supply chain support to Engineering teams for rapid design iterations, BOM changes, and prototype builds. nu2022 Coordinate closely with EMS partners to support rapid prototyping, quicku2011turn builds, and engineering validation units (EVT/DVT/PVT). nu2022 Execute RFQs, cost analysis, and commercial negotiations with EMS partners and component suppliers in alignment with project milestones. nu2022 Manage component procurement from global suppliers, including lead time management, MOQ optimization, and logistics coordination. nu2022 Ensure timely placement of purchase orders to support prototype, pilot, and launch builds. nu2022 Track EMS and supplier readiness including capacity, tooling, AVL compliance, PPAP/FAI, and quality requirements. nu2022 Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to longu2011lead components, capacity constraints, singleu2011source dependencies, and geopolitical or logistics risks. nu2022 Drive cost optimization initiatives such as shouldu2011costing, VAVE,
