Position Overview: As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will play
a key role in the development, design, testing, and implementation of hardware
components for our products. You will lead hardware engineering projects,
provide technical expertise, and collaborate with cross -functional teams to
deliver high -quality, cutting-edge solutions. The role requires a strong
understanding of hardware design principles & advanced problem -solving
skills.
Responsibilities
- Hardware Design: Lead and
participate in the design and development of complex hardware systems,
including circuit boards, components, and peripherals,
ensuring they meet
performance and quality
standards.
- Power Electronics:
Understanding of circuit design principles and experience in designing and
analysing power electronics circuit
- Filters: Basic knowledge of
Filters
- Simulation: LT and Spice/ P
and Spice (Tools)
- Prototyping: Create and
evaluate prototypes, conduct feasibility studies, and refine designs based
on test results and feedback.
- Component Selection:
Research and select appropriate components, chips, and materials to meet
design requirements while considering cost and availability.
- Testing and Validation:
Develop test plans, conduct thorough testing, and validate hardware
designs to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry
standards.
- Documentation: Prepare
comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications,
schematics, and reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely
with software engineers, firmware developers, and other cross -functional
teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
- Innovation and Research:
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
in hardware engineering,
and apply this knowledge to improve product
designs and processes.
- Troubleshooting: Identify
and resolve hardware -related issues during product development and
post -production phases.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or
Master's degree in Engineering, or a related field. (Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering)
- Experience: A minimum of 3
years of relevant experience in hardware design and development, with a
proven track record of delivering successful products.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in hardware design tools (e.g., Altium), experience with FPGA
and microcontroller -based systems.
- Industry Knowledge: In -depth
knowledge of hardware components, PCB design, signal integrity, power
management, and EMC/EMI considerations.
- Testing and Validation:
Experience in testing methodologies, debugging hardware issues, and using
lab equipment.
- Collaboration: Strong
interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work
effectively in cross -functional teams.
- Analytical Thinking:
Excellent problem -solving skills and the ability to think critically and
creatively to address complex engineering challenges.
- Adaptability: Willingness to
adapt to changing requirements, project priorities, and technology
advancements.
- Compliance: Familiarity with
relevant safety and regulatory standards in hardware design and
development.
