Position Overview
Modutec Ready Panels Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly capable and strategically driven Vice President â Operations to lead and integrate the complete Enquiry-to-Execution value chain across our modular electrical enclosure systems business.
This role demands a leader who combines strong manufacturing and operational expertise with systems thinking, people leadership, process discipline and execution excellence.
The VP â Operations will be responsible for ensuring that Modutec delivers:
- â High-quality modular enclosure systems
- â Faster lead times
- â Scalable manufacturing systems
- â Cost optimisation
- â Operational standardisation
- â Consistent on-time delivery
The role requires close coordination with Design, R&D;, SCM, Manufacturing, Stores, PPC, Maintenance and Logistics functions to create a unified, efficient and future-ready operational ecosystem.

Requirements
0. Key Responsibilities
1. Order Kick-Off & Cross Functional Alignment
- â Lead the operational execution process immediately upon receipt of confirmed customer orders.
- â Ensure structured Design Review Meetings (DRM) are conducted involving all relevant cross-functional teams.
- â Ensure MOMs (Minutes of Meeting) are clearly documented with responsibilities, timelines and accountability.
- â Drive execution discipline from enquiry conversion till dispatch.
2. Mechanical Design Optimisation & Standardisation

modular engineering practices focused on:
- â BOM-driven engineering
- â Design simplification
- â Manufacturability
- â Kitting optimisation
â Ensure engineering outputs are aligned with production capabilities and scalable systems.
3. Coordination with R&D;
â Work in close coordination with the R&D; Head to ensure:
- â Standardisation initiatives are implemented
- â Current product introductions are production-ready
- â Design and manufacturing teams work in a unified direction
- â Continuous product and process improvement
4. Supply Chain Management & BOM Release
- â Ensure timely and accurate release of BOMs through SCM.
- â Drive procurement planning aligned to production schedules and customer
commitments.
- â Ensure strategic sourcing, vendor development and inventory optimisation.
5. Purchase, Stores & Material Flow
â Oversee procurement and stores operations to ensure:
- â Right material at the right time
- â Inventory accuracy
- â Proper material traceability
- â Reduced shortages and excess inventory
- â Seamless material flow to production
6. Fabrication Operations Leadership
â Lead
â CNC Panel Benders
fabrication operations with strong understanding of:
- â Turret Punch Presses
- â CNC Laser Cutting
- â Press Brakes
- â Welding Technologies & Processes
- â Ensure optimum machine utilisation, nesting efficiency, productivity and process discipline.
- â Drive lean manufacturing and throughput improvement initiatives.
7. Surface Treatment, Powder Coating & Assembly
â Ensure proper execution of:
- â ED Dip Coating
- â Powder Coating
â Assembly processes
â Maintain process consistency, productivity and quality standards as per project
drawings and specifications.
8. Quality & Compliance Coordination
â Work
- â Process quality adherence
- â Reduced rework
- â Corrective and preventive actions
- â Customer quality compliance
â Drive

10. Maintenance & Infrastructure
- â Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of:
- â Production machinery
- â Utilities
- â Infrastructure
- â Factory systems
- â Improve machine uptime and reliability.
- â Drive maintenance systems and preventive maintenance culture.

Desired Candidate Profile Educational Qualification
- â BE / BTech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering preferred
- â MBA Operations will be an added advantage
Experience
â 18â25 years of relevant operational leadership experience
- â Strong experience in:
â Fabrication industries
â Modular manufacturing
â Electrical panel industry
â Heavy engineering / sheet metal operations
- â Experience handling integrated manufacturing operations preferred
