- Perform and assist in a wide range of surgical procedures including endoscopic sinus surgery, tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy, ear surgery, cochlear implantation, micro -laryngeal surgery, and endoscopic skull base surgery.
- Diagnose and manage complex conditions in otology, rhinology, laryngology, and head & neck surgery, including chronic sinusitis, hearing loss, vocal cord dysfunction, and benign/malignant tumors.
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with voice and swallowing disorders, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and therapeutic interventions.
- Manage acute and chronic facial trauma cases, including fractures of the midface and orbital regions, with timely surgical intervention and rehabilitation planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiologists, oncologists, speech therapists, and audiologists to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, participate in case discussions, and contribute to clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging techniques, technologies, and clinical guidelines in ENT surgery through continuous professional development and active engagement in medical literature.
- Provide patient education and counseling on treatment options, post -operative care, and long -term management plans.
Requirements
- MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Otorhinolaryngology (MS ENT or DNB ENT) from a recognized medical institution.
- Demonstrated proficiency in core ENT surgical skills including tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy, ear surgery, and endoscopic sinus surgery.
- Hands -on experience or training in advanced procedures such as cochlear implantation, micro -laryngeal surgery, endoscopic skull base surgery, and facial trauma management.
- Solid understanding of otology, rhinology, laryngology, and head & neck surgical principles.
- Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and decision -making abilities with attention to detail and patient safety.
- Ability to work effectively in high -pressure environments, manage time efficiently, and maintain composure during emergencies.
- Proficiency in using surgical instruments, endoscopes, and digital imaging systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with patients and collaborate seamlessly with healthcare professionals.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, on -call duties, and emergency surgical coverage as required.
- Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
