About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic SDET Intern to join the Prepisely engineering team. You will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure our applications are reliable, scalable, and production-ready.
This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in software testing, test automation, API testing, debugging, and quality engineering while working on a real-world SaaS product.

Responsibilities
Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Develop and maintain automated test cases for web applications and APIs.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and automation frameworks.
Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs with explicit steps and evidence.
Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve defects.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
Perform database validation using SQL.
Participate in code reviews and understand application workflows.
Help improve test coverage and overall product quality.
Contribute to CI/CD-based automated testing.

Must Have




Robust understanding of Software Testing fundamentals.
Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
Good understanding of manual testing concepts.
Basic experience with test automation.
Knowledge of API testing and REST APIs.
Good understanding of HTTP methods and status codes.
Basic SQL knowledge.
Familiarity with Git/GitLab or GitHub.
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to write clear and structured test cases and bug reports.
Willingness to learn automation frameworks and new testing tools.
