Dynamics 365 F&O; Technical Developer – ERP Support
About the Role
We are looking for a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Technical Developer to join an ERP technical support and triage function. This is a hands-on technical position focused on debugging and resolving F&O; support tickets. You will investigate application issues, identify root causes, and provide development solutions where required.
This is not a purely functional support role. Strong development and debugging capability is essential. The role is focused on supporting enterprise ERP applications and helping maintain a stable and efficient business systems environment.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate and technically triage Dynamics 365 F&O; support tickets.
Debug application and production issues.
Identify root causes and implement appropriate fixes.
Investigate whether issues relate to code, configuration, data, or integrations.
Review and troubleshoot existing customisations.
Develop and implement technical fixes.
Support integrations with other business applications.
Analyse application errors and logs.
Support change requests and technical enhancements.
Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
Escalate complex issues to internal or external specialists where required.
Identify recurring issues and recommend permanent improvements.
Maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
Essential Experience
Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Robust hands-on X++ development experience.
Experience debugging F&O; applications.
Production support and troubleshooting experience.
Understanding of F&O; customisations and extensions.
Experience investigating integration issues.
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
Ability to independently investigate technical support tickets.
