HMX Media is a CGI product visualization and VFX studio. We make product launch imagery, film and real-time 3D for global consumer brands, out of Pune, Mumbai and London.

We are hiring for a dedicated talent acquisition specialist to own hiring for our Pune studio. Every artist, technical and production seat.

Why this one is different

Our open roles look nearly identical on a CV and are entirely different jobs. Two candidates can both write "Six years, Lighting Artist" and one has spent those years matching CG to a live-action plate on features while the other lights a product for a sequence of CG shots . Only the second can make brushed aluminum highlights look realistic for a macro shot.

So this is not a keyword matching role. We need someone who reads the reel before the CV, who can sit in a briefing with a Supervisor and leave knowing precisely what is being asked for, and who can then have a credible conversation about that work with the candidate.

You will be hiring across lighting, lookdev, CG compositing, modelling, animation and motion, Houdini FX, real-time 3D and WebGL,



pipeline development, and production.

What you will own
- Direct sourcing. Reels and portfolios first: ArtStation, Behance, Vimeo, LinkedIn, Instagram and artist communities, alongside Naukri and a referral scheme you design.
- First-pass assessment of showreels against the brief, so Heads of Department only see candidates worth their time.
- Requisitions end to end: intake briefs, scheduling, feedback, offers and documentation.
- The offer to joining window. Counter-offer risk, buy-outs, weekly candidate contact, background verification and day-one readiness.
- Employer branding. Careers page, LinkedIn and Instagram presence, behind-the-scenes content agreed with Production, and studio presence at industry events.
- Campus and early talent. Relationships with the Pune animation and VFX institutes, reel reviews, workshops, and the trainee intake.
