Role Description The Senior Sales Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This position is responsible for driving sales of Leister’s plastic welding and process heat solutions by engaging with industrial customers, understanding their technical requirements,



and proposing suitable products and systems. Day-to-day activities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing and delivering technical presentations, and collaborating with internal teams to develop customized solutions. The role involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, managing customer inquiries and issues, and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and end users. The Senior Sales Engineer will also track market trends, support local marketing initiatives, and contribute to sales planning and forecasting to achieve growth targets.
Qualifications
Strong Sales Engineering and technical solution-selling skills, with experience in industrial or equipment-based environments.
Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service, including lead generation, opportunity management, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
