Key Responsibilities ? Power & Performance Engineer (x86 Embedded Platform)
4-6 years of experience in the Power & Performance Validation / Characterization
Hands-on experience Performing CPU, memory, storage, and platform-level power & performance characterization on x86 embedded systems.
Execute and analyze industry-standard benchmarks to evaluate system performance, scalability, and efficiency.
Drive SPDK-based storage performance testing for NVMe SSDs, analyzing IOPS, throughput, latency, and scalability.
Perform DPDK-based networking performance characterization for packet processing, latency, and high-speed Ethernet workloads.
Conduct workload profiling, performance tuning, and bottleneck analysis across CPU, memory, storage, and networking subsystems.
Validate and optimize power management features including P-States, C-States, Turbo/Boost, and thermal management capabilities.
Collect, analyze, and interpret performance counters,
telemetry logs, and profiling data to identify optimization opportunities.
Develop and maintain Python/Shell automation frameworks for benchmark execution, result collection, and report generation.
Collaborate with Silicon, BIOS, Firmware, OS, and Validation teams to debug and resolve performance issues.
Generate characterization reports, performance trend analysis, and system optimization recommendations for stakeholders and customers.
Support silicon bring-up, post-silicon validation, and customer performance investigations across embedded and server-class platforms.
Ensure accurate, repeatable, and traceable performance measurements while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
