Role Description The Front Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Minimalist VNS in Varanasi. This role oversees the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, efficient reservations handling, and a welcoming, qualified guest experience. The Front Office Manager supervises front office team members, manages schedules, trains staff on service standards, and coordinates with housekeeping, F&B;, and events teams to maintain seamless operations. Responsibilities include handling guest inquiries and concerns, monitoring customer satisfaction, maintaining accurate records and reports, and supporting revenue and occupancy goals. The role also involves upholding Minimalist’s design-led, community-focused brand ethos in all guest interactions and public areas.

Qualifications
Strong Front Office and Customer Service skills, with experience managing check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest interactions.
Ability to drive Customer Satisfaction through proactive problem-solving, guest feedback management,



and consistent service standards.
Proficiency in Office Administration, including reporting, documentation, and basic hotel systems or PMS software.
Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests, team members, and external partners.
Previous experience in hotel front office or hospitality operations, preferably in boutique or design-led properties.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team supervision, coaching, and performance management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and a guest-centric mindset.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of local culture and attractions in Varanasi and willingness to curate authentic experiences for guests.
