Job Title: Accounts Payable Executive – Logistics

Job Description:
We are looking for an Accounts Executive to manage vendor billing and payment processes for our logistics operations. The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of major Indian ports and transport routes, along with basic accounting skills.

Key Responsibilities:
· Verify and process vendor/transporter freight bills against LR, POD, and GR documents
· Coordinate with branch offices and vendors across states for bill clarification and follow up
· Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
· Assist in TDS deduction and basic compliance for vendor payments
· Track and resolve billing discrepancies with transporters/vendors
· Support month end vendor reconciliation

Required Skills:




· Basic understanding of accounting principles and Accounts Payable process
· Valuable verbal and written communication skills
· Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Tally/ERP is a plus
· Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (vendors, branches, transporters)
· Experience in transportation industries will be a plus

Preferred Background:
· Prior experience in freight forwarding, CHA, transport, or logistics accounts
· Familiarity with freight billing/documentation process
