The Right Person For The Role

We are looking for someone early in their career, but not early in their thinking. This role sits at the intersection of research, culture, human behaviour, data and brand communication. You could come from psychology, statistics, media and communication, marketing, sociology, anthropology, economics or another related field. Your degree matters less than how you think.

We are looking for someone curious about people and the world around them, enjoys going deeper than the obvious answer, and can eventually form a point of view rather than simply collecting information.

You should ideally have around 2+ years of experience in an workplace where these skills are used, such as advertising, brand strategy, marketing, consumer research, media, consulting, insights, communications, cultural research or related fields.

Enjoys researching subjects you knew very little about before




Can read deeply without getting overwhelmed by information
Is comfortable working with numbers, datasets, surveys and spreadsheets
Can speak to people and understand the nuances behind what they say

Can connect dots across culture, behaviour, business and communication
Can write clearly and explain complex ideas simply
Is comfortable challenging an obvious answer when the evidence suggests something else
Has the confidence to say, “I don't know yet, but I know how to find out.”

Researching categories, brands, consumers, markets and cultural behaviour
Understanding why people from certain geographies behave, consume, celebrate or make decisions in particular ways
Conducting secondary research across reports, academic papers, archives, news, databases and other credible sources
