Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Database Developer / Analyst with strong expertise in SQL/PLSQL and hands-on experience across multiple database platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Sybase, and PostgreSQL.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in complex SQL development, query optimization, data validation, database performance monitoring, production support, and large-scale data analysis. The candidate will work closely with technical and business teams to develop efficient database solutions that support reporting, compliance, and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database scripts.
Perform deep-dive data analysis on large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, data quality issues, and improvement opportunities.
Monitor and troubleshoot production databases, Glue jobs, and NLS jobs.




Perform SQL query tuning and database performance optimization.
Provide L2/L3 production support for database and data-related issues.
Troubleshoot production scripts and implement permanent solutions for recurring issues.
Enhance and optimize production reporting SQL queries.
Automate manual reporting and database processes to improve efficiency.

Must-Have / Important Skills
1. SQL & PLSQL – MANDATORY
Solid hands-on expertise in SQL and PLSQL.
Ability to write and optimize complex queries.
Strong knowledge of Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Cursors, Triggers, Joins, CTEs, and Window Functions.
Experience troubleshooting and optimizing complex database scripts.
2. Database Platforms – MANDATORY
Strong experience with one or more of the following, with exposure to multiple platforms highly preferred:
Oracle
SQL Server
MySQL
Sybase
PostgreSQL
3. Query Optimization & Performance Tuning – CRITICAL
