AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Water Resources Modelling Engineer to join our Water Resources and Flood Risk Management team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of hydrologic and hydraulic modelling projects, flood risk assessments, watershed studies, river engineering, and urban stormwater management projects across India and international markets.
The role involves development, calibration, validation, and interpretation of hydrologic and hydraulic models, preparation of technical reports and GIS deliverables, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge and sustainable water resource solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement hydrologic and hydraulic models using HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS (1D/2D) for flood assessment and water resources projects.
Perform rainfall-runoff analysis, river hydraulic studies, floodplain mapping, drainage design, and watershed modelling.
Conduct Flood Risk Assessments (FRA), flood hazard studies, urban stormwater in
