Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, performance-driven, and results-oriented Area Zonal Manager (Assistant Manager) Health Insurance to lead sales operations and drive business growth across Pune.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large, multi-layered sales organization, driving business targets, strengthening distribution, and ensuring consistent team productivity and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in Health Insurance / General Insurance sales, large-scale team management, Team Leader management, business development, sales strategy, and distribution management.
The candidate must possess strong knowledge of the Pune market and must be born and brought up in Pune.



This role requires a solid people leader with demonstrated experience managing multiple Team Leaders and large frontline sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
Drive Health Insurance business across the assigned zone and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
Lead and oversee 2–3 Team Leaders and their respective frontline sales teams.
Manage an overall sales structure of approximately 30–60+ sales professionals through Team Leaders.
Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance expectations for Team Leaders and frontline sales teams.
Monitor individual, team, and zonal-level performance against defined business objectives.
Conduct regular business reviews and implement performance improvement plans wherever required.
Coach, mentor, and develop Team Leaders to enhance productivity, conversion, revenue, and overall team performance.
Drive recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management across the sales hierarchy.
