Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on finance professional who can build and run the finance function for a rapid-growing defence and aerospace technology company.
This is not intended to be a conventional accounting-only role. The person will work closely with the leadership, programme, manufacturing and commercial teams and will be responsible for translating engineering and business activity into financial plans, budgets, cash-flow visibility, project economics and management information.





The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable analysing a development programme, building a multi-year business plan, working with CA/auditor teams on compliance, preparing information for investors, and sitting with programme managers to understand where money is actually being spent.

Key Responsibilities
The role is expected to own and supervise the finance process rather than merely outsource responsibility to accountants.

1. FP&A; and Management Reporting
Own annual budgets, cash flows & working capital forecasts..
Develop and own MIS, management dashboards, programme-level financial performance and identify variances early.
Provide leadership with concise financial analysis to support decision-making.

2. Programme & Project Finance
Establish programme-wise budgeting and cost tracking across R&D;, prototype development, trials and production programmes.
