Role Description The 3D Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based at Pompee VFX Animation Studios in Kochi. This role involves creating and refining 3D assets, including modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, and animation for various VFX and animation projects. The 3D Generalist will work closely with directors, supervisors, and other artists to translate creative briefs into high-quality visual output, ensuring consistency in style and technical standards. Day-to-day tasks include asset creation, scene setup, rendering tests, troubleshooting technical issues,



and collaborating in reviews to implement feedback efficiently.
Qualifications
Proficiency in 3D content creation tools such as Blender and familiarity with standard VFX/animation pipelines.
Solid skills in rigging and animation for characters, creatures, and mechanical assets.
Experience with texturing and lighting to achieve realistic or stylized looks as required by the project.
Understanding of modeling, rendering workflows, and optimization for production environments.
Excellent visual storytelling sense, attention to detail, and ability to follow artistic direction.
Ability to work on-site in Kochi, collaborate effectively in a team, and manage tasks to meet deadlines.
Relevant diploma or degree in Animation, VFX, CG, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Previous studio or project-based experience in VFX or 3D animation production is an advantage.
