Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with strong hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2. The candidate should have experience in both batch and online development, enhancement projects, production support, and mainframe migration/re-hosting projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, debug, and maintain Mainframe applications.
Work on COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
Handle both Batch and Online applications.
Perform impact analysis, technical analysis, and code changes.
Work on Mainframe re-hosting/migration projects using Raincode/Micro Focus.
Perform SIT/UAT defect analysis and resolution.
Participate in SDLC and Agile processes.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Work independently and collaborate with technical teams.
Required Skills
10+ years of Mainframe development experience.
Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
Valuable knowledge of VSAM.
Experience with Batch and Online applications.
Experience with Raincode/Micro Focus is preferred.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
