Job Description

Develop and execute the retail expansion strategy across malls, airports, and high streets in line with Samsonite's growth objectives.
Identify and evaluate new retail opportunities based on brand fit, market potential, consumer demographics, footfall, and competitive presence.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective locations across key cities and growth markets.
Conduct market mapping and location analysis to support informed site selection decisions.
Site Acquisition & Commercial Negotiations
Lead negotiations with mall developers, airport authorities, landlords, and property consultants to secure commercially viable retail spaces.
Ensure rental commercials, lease terms, and occupancy costs are aligned with company benchmarks and profitability targets.
Drive cost optimisation while maintaining premium brand visibility and store standards.
Manage lease renewals, relocations, and renegotiations to improve commercial outcomes.
Stakeholder Management
Develop and maintain relationships with leading developers, property owners, airport operators,



and retail real estate consultants.
Work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Retail Operations teams to evaluate and approve expansion opportunities.
Present location proposals and business cases for management approval.
Market Intelligence & Portfolio Management
Track retail real estate trends, competitor expansion activities, and emerging retail destinations.
Monitor portfolio performance and recommend actions for expansion, consolidation, relocation, or closure based on business performance.
Maintain a database of retail opportunities, lease status, and pipeline projects.
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field or Diploma in Interior Designing
Experience Requirements
8-10 years of experience in retail business development, retail leasing, or expansion management within retail, fashion, lifestyle, footwear, luggage, or consumer brands.
