Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain custom QGIS plugins using Python and PyQGIS.
Automate GIS data processing, validation, and reporting workflows.
Perform spatial analysis and geoprocessing using QGIS.
Develop scripts and tools for geospatial data migration and transformation.
Integrate QGIS with databases, web services, and third-party applications.
Work with vector, raster, and spatial datasets.
Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
Troubleshoot GIS application issues and optimize performance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand GIS requirements and deliver solutions.
Ensure data quality through automated validation and quality assurance processes.
Required Skills
2-4 years of experience in QGIS and Python development.
Strong knowledge of PyQGIS, Python, and GIS concepts.
Experience with QGIS Plugin Development.
Hands-on experience in geospatial data processing and spatial analysis.
Knowledge of GIS data formats such as Shapefile, GeoJSON, GPKG, KML, KMZ, and CAD data.
Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases.
Understanding of coordinate systems and map projections.
Experience with Git or other version control tools.
Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience in telecom GIS projects.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of ArcGIS, FME, AutoCAD Map 3D, or Civil 3D.
Experience with REST APIs and web GIS technologies.
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for GIS applications.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Experience in AI/ML-based geospatial solutions is an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Engineering, or a related field.
