We're looking for an Executive – Consumer Insights who is naturally curious about people, loves consumer brands, and enjoys turning conversations, observations, trends, and data into insights that can shape what we build next.
What You'll Own
You'll be one of the closest people to our consumers—constantly listening, observing, asking questions, and connecting dots.
Your role will be to bring the voice of the consumer into our Recent Product Development (NPD) and Go-to-Market (GTM) thinking, while also supporting the team in translating those insights into action.
Consumer Listening & Insights
Lead regular consumer/customer conversations to understand behaviours, preferences, pain points, unmet needs, and emerging expectations.
Plan and facilitate Focus Group Discussions (FGDs)
and other qualitative consumer interactions.
Drive social media listening across relevant platforms to understand conversations, sentiments, emerging needs, and category trends.
Track consumer, beauty, cultural, and category trends and identify what they could mean for Plum.
Connect insights across consumer conversations, social listening, reviews, trends, and business observations to identify meaningful patterns.
Influence NPD & GTM
Translate consumer insights into actionable inputs for New Product Development and GTM planning.
Bring the consumer lens into conversations around product concepts, propositions, communication, packaging, claims, and launches.
Support concept testing and consumer validation for new ideas and innovations.
Help answer the fundamental question: “What is the consumer telling us, and what should we do differently because of it?”
