Manager – HR Operations & Payroll

Reporting To
Director – Human Resources

Role Purpose
The Manager – HR Operations & Payroll shall be responsible for leading and managing all HR operational processes and payroll administration activities of the University. The role will ensure productive employee lifecycle management, accurate payroll processing, robust HR systems administration, policy compliance, employee service delivery, and operational excellence while supporting the University's strategic HR objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations Management
Lead and manage all HR operations activities across the employee lifecycle.
Ensure seamless execution of onboarding, employee documentation, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separation processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files.
Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of HR processes.

2. Payroll Administration
Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing in accordance with approved policies and timelines.
Validate attendance,



leave records, salary revisions, recoveries, deductions, incentives, and other payroll inputs.
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of payroll data.
Oversee full and final settlement processes for separating employees.
Coordinate with Finance and external payroll/compliance partners for timely payroll execution.

3. Attendance & Leave Management
Oversee attendance management systems and processes.
Monitor leave administration and ensure adherence to University policies.
Resolve attendance and leave-related discrepancies in a timely manner.
Ensure timely closure of monthly attendance records for payroll processing.

4. HRMS & Employee Data Management
Manage HRMS, ERP, and employee database systems.
Ensure data integrity, system accuracy, and timely updates of employee information.
Generate HR dashboards, reports, and analytics for management review.
