In this role, you will be responsible for identifying high-value tenders, building strategic relationships with Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and private infrastructure contractors, and ensuring company is specified as the preferred partner for major power transmission, distribution, and infrastructure projects.
Broad Responsibilities
- Business Development & Tender Management
- Identify, monitor, and assess upcoming tenders in the power transmission, distribution, solar, and infrastructure sectors.
- Evaluate technical and commercial requirements of tenders from both Private and PSU clients to ensure fully aligned bidding strategies.
- Develop and implement strategic bidding approaches to secure large-scale supply contracts for the company's manufacturing portfolio.
- Map and engage key decision-makers, consultants, and procurement heads across PSUs, government bodies (State Electricity Boards), and private EPC giants.
- Project Execution Support & Order Management
- Coordinate closely with internal manufacturing, design,
and procurement divisions to ensure smooth order execution and timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Proactively mitigate deployment risks and resolve technical compliance queries raised by clients.
- Maintain absolute visibility over regional infrastructure pipelines to capitalise on ongoing and runway cable supply requirements.
- Government Liaisoning & Client Relationship Management
- Actively liaison with government bodies, state electricity boards (DISCOMs/TRANSCOs), and public sector undertakings (PSUs) to drive vendor registration and product approvals.
- Maintain close connection and liaison with top-tier EPC contractors, private developers, and turnkey project consultants to ensure the company is included in their preferred vendor lists.
- Lead technical presentations, address compliance queries, and build long-term strategic alliances with government authorities and private infrastructure stakeholders.
