Job Description – System Administrator
Position: System Administrator – Computer Labs
Location: Sri Sukhmani Group of Institutions, Derabassi
Experience: 1–3 Years | Qualification: B.Tech/BCA/MCA/Diploma in Computer Science/IT or equivalent
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain all computers, peripherals, software, and networking equipment in college computer labs.
Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot operating systems, software, hardware, printers, and other IT equipment.
Ensure computer labs are fully functional and ready for regular classes, practicals, examinations, and technical events.
Manage basic LAN/network connectivity, switches, routers, Wi-Fi, antivirus, and system security.
Maintain IT asset inventory, software records, maintenance logs,



and backup systems.
Provide timely technical support to students and faculty and coordinate with external vendors when required.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of Windows/Linux, computer hardware, networking, and software installation.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues independently.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience in a college/university or educational setting will be preferred.
