The Position
P&C; Technology Innovation & Solutions Engineer
The P&C; Technology Innovation & Solutions Engineer will be a key member of the People & Culture (P&C;) Engineering team within Roche Digital Technology (RDT). Operating at the intersection of public cloud infrastructure and core HR SaaS platforms, the P&C; Engineering team provides the technical enablers and hands-on validation required to realize P&C; strategic objectives.
As the P&C; Technology Innovation & Solutions Engineer, you will act as a hands-on technical partner to Product Delivery Leads (PDLs) and work alongside Solution Architects. In this role,
you will evaluate technology roadmaps, assess feature feasibility, write serverless glue code, and build cloud-native prototypes and integration adapters for our P&C; platform ecosystem.
The Chance
In this role, you will drive hands-on technical execution, rapid prototyping, and architecture validation across our HR technology landscape. You will:
Partner daily with Product Delivery Leads and Solution Architects to evaluate feature feasibility, latency, rate limits, and integration impacts across platforms like Workday, ServiceNow, and Cornerstone.
Engineer lightweight, serverless cloud glue code using services like AWS Lambda and API Gateway to connect core SaaS platforms with internal cloud environments.
Build rapid Proofs-of-Concept (PoCs) to validate integration feasibility and streamline real-world data flow across cloud ecosystems.
