Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end Mechanical Engineering function for a large mixed-use development comprising commercial and hotel/hospitality assets. The Mechanical Head will oversee design management, engineering reviews, project execution, quality, cost, safety, stakeholder coordination, and commissioning of all mechanical systems throughout the project lifecycle.

About the Role:
Lead the planning, design review, coordination, and execution of all mechanical systems including HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, fire protection, water management, and utility services for commercial and hospitality developments.
Review and approve mechanical designs, drawings, technical specifications, value engineering proposals, and consultant deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Manage mechanical contractors, consultants, vendors, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of engineering milestones, installation activities, testing,



and commissioning works.
Drive project execution by monitoring quality, safety, budget, schedules, and resource utilization while ensuring adherence to project objectives and operational requirements.
Coordinate closely with Civil, Structural, Architectural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Interior teams to ensure seamless integration of all building services.
Evaluate and implement energy-effective, sustainable, and innovative mechanical solutions that enhance building performance and operational efficiency.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.
Monitor compliance with local authority regulations, statutory approvals, hotel brand standards, fire and life safety requirements, and environmental regulations.
