Job Description : Senior Sales Engineer - Delhi
● Experience & Background
1. 4–6+ years of experience in industrial SPM automation / machine vision/ Capex AOI system, Measurement system sales.
2. Prior experience working with or against companies like with selling Machine Vision products.
3. Robust background in consultation solution-selling rather than just product selling.
4. Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical) preferred.

Requirements

● Sales & Business Skills
1. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in Delhi market at least ₹. 2 cr/year.
2. Deep understanding of factory automation, quality inspection systems, SPM, PLC, IOT, and industrial sensors.
3. Ability to map accounts, identify decision-makers, and drive consultative sales demo and trials to closures.
4. Skilled in preparing technical presentations, proposals, and ROI-driven business cases.
5. Experience in handling medium to long, B2B sales cycles with manufacturing customers of Ticket sizes INR. 10 lacs or more.

● Market & Network
1.



Strong network of contacts in industries like automotive, FMCG, pharma, electronics, and heavy manufacturing.
2. Familiarity with regional industrial clusters Delhi Region
3. Ability to penetrate large accounts and grow existing customer relationships.
4. Having an established relationship with a local channel partner will be advantageous.

● Technical & Domain Knowledge
1. Understanding of vision inspection systems, AI-based defect detection, industrial automation hardware & software.
2. Ability to conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and support technical teams in customer discussions.
3. Comfortable bridging between customer’s technical teams and SwitchOn.io’s product/engineering team.
