What you will do
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial controls, financial processes and statutory accounting principles and practices, with a proven track record of managing financial and accounting operations in a corporate setting. The Finance Manager will lead local accounting, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and regulatory standards and adherence to Amgen’s internal controls and policies.



This role reports directly to the Amgen India Finance Site Lead.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day local financial processes and controls including statutory accounting. Partner with global accounting to ensure appropriate general ledger and financial reporting for Amgen India site
Ensure transactions aligned to local accounting principles
Ensures fulfillment of company obligations/payments to third parties and Amgen employees according to local and corporate instructions
Fulfills all statutory accounting and reporting activities as well as local tax authorities’ requirements, in compliance with applicable legislation
Ensures accuracy of tax forms presented to local authorities and timely payment of local taxes (VAT, CIT, local business taxes, etc)
Prepare accurate local cash-flow forecast to ensure proper funding
Support payroll administration in partnership with local Human Resources (HR)
Partner with Global Accounting
