Facilities Manager
Job Purpose
The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, safety, and compliance of all facility-related services, including building infrastructure, housekeeping, security, technical systems, vendor management, and workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations
Oversee day-to-day facility management activities.
Ensure smooth operation of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, DG sets, lifts, and fire systems.
Maintain workplace standards and service levels.
Maintenance Management
Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Coordinate with technical teams and vendors for timely issue resolution.
Ensure minimum downtime of critical equipment.
Vendor & Contract Management
Manage facility service providers including housekeeping, security, landscaping, and technical vendors.
Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
Process invoices and ensure contractual compliance.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and safety regulations.
Conduct safety inspections, emergency drills, and risk assessments.
Maintain records related to audits and regulatory requirements.
Budget & Cost Control
Prepare and manage facility operating budgets.
Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support procurement and contract negotiations.
