Position Overview
Trimble is seeking a high-caliber Corporate Development & Ventures Associate to serve as the founding team lead of our India-based Corporate Development team supporting the North American team. This role sits at the center of Trimble's inorganic growth strategy — evaluating acquisitions, partnerships, and venture investments that shape long-term competitive advantage across construction, geospatial, infrastructure, and AI-driven workflows.
You will lead a team of one or two analysts in India while working directly with senior corporate development leaders globally. This is a dual-mandate role: you are both a hands-on practitioner — building models, conducting rigorous analysis, and developing investment presentations — and a team lead responsible for the quality, throughput, and professional development of your analysts. The role is designed for individuals who combine strong financial and analytical skills with strategic judgment,



intellectual curiosity, and the organizational maturity to lead a high-performance team in a fast-moving workplace.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Modeling & Valuation and Analysis
Build and own robust financial models including 3-statement models, DCF, comparable company and transaction analyses, LBO frameworks, and scenario/sensitivity analysis to support M&A; and investment decisions
Analyze unit economics, revenue drivers, margin structures, and capital efficiency across target companies
Evaluate deal structures, valuation ranges, and key financial risks across acquisitions and venture investments
Assess strategic fit, competitive positioning, and risk factors across potential targets
Prepare structured investment memos and analytical summaries that support go/no-go decisions
2. Presentation & Communication Development
Develop high-quality investment presentations, board materials, and
