About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer to join the SRE & Automation organization. This role is critical to sustaining enterprise reporting, observability, automation, and data platform capabilities that enable operational excellence across the organization. The successful candidate will drive scalable solutions that improve reliability, enhance operational visibility, reduce manual effort, and deliver data-driven insights to engineering and business stakeholders.

In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution




Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Design, develop, and maintain scalable reporting, analytics, and dashboard solutions that provide operational visibility, executive insights, and performance metrics across SRE and enterprise platforms.
Own and enhance data ingestion pipelines, reporting schemas, KPI frameworks, and operational data models to ensure the delivery of accurate, reliable, and actionable insights.
Drive automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and streamline reporting, monitoring, and operational workflows.
Develop and support automation solutions using contemporary engineering frameworks and scripting languages such as Python.
