Key Responsibilities
Resource Planning and Scheduling
· Schedule and assign qualified technicians to installation and project work across Canada on a daily basis
· Manage the Resource Management mailbox daily, including processing requests and coordinating changes
· Track technician availability, including vacations and time off, and proactively communicate impacts to project timelines
· Forecast upcoming resource requirements and assist with cost analysis related to workforce planning
· Identify potential staffing gaps and communicate needs to support timely recruitment efforts
· Act as the primary point of contact for technicians regarding scheduling and assignments
Skills Tracking and Development
· Maintain an up-to-date database of technician skills and certifications to ensure appropriate job placement
· Support technician development by coordinating mentorship opportunities between junior and senior staff
Project Support
· Provide cross-functional support to project teams as required, including:
o Investigating discrepancies related to technician hours and asset records
o Creating purchase orders for third-party vendors
o Coordinating and scheduling technicians through Field Nation and approve work orders
o Performing other administrative and coordination tasks to support successful project execution
o Create and submit Service Now tickets on behalf of field technicians
Qualifications
· 2–4+ years of experience in resource coordination, scheduling, project coordination, or a related role
· Robust organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
· High level of attention to detail and accuracy
· Proven ability to build effective working relationships with internal team and field staff
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with Service Now is considered an asset but is not required
