Key Responsibilities
Model Development & Management
Architecture: Develop and maintain detailed 3 D BIM models for architectural elements (walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, windows, furniture, and finishes) using Revit Architecture.
Structure:
Create and manage structural BIM models including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, and reinforcement (rebar) details using Revit Structure.
LOD Compliance: Create and manage models adhering to project-specific LOD (Level of Development) standards (LOD 200 to LOD 500) and client specifications.
Family Creation: Create parametric Revit families for architectural components and structural connections.
BIM Coordination & Clash Detection
Inter-disciplinary Coordination: Perform regular clash detection between Architectural/Structural elements and MEP systems.
Resolution: Coordinate with MEP engineers and other trade leads to resolve modeling conflicts (e.g., beam penetrations for ducts, ceiling heights vs. pipe runs).
Meetings: Participate actively in BIM coordination meetings and technical workshops.
Reporting: Document and communicate clash resolutions and design changes to project stakeholders.
