Mechanical Design Engineer (Fusion 360)
Location: MIDC Mahape, Navi Mumbai
Experience: 2–6 Years
Synergy Viking Offshore Engineering designs and manufactures commercial diving systems, hydraulic power packs, launch and recovery systems (LARS), winches, diver cages, and other specialized offshore equipment.
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong CAD skills and practical engineering experience to help design, develop, and improve equipment used in demanding marine and offshore environments.
Responsibilities
Design mechanical systems and fabricated structures using Fusion 360. Create 3 D models, assemblies, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs. Develop designs for hydraulic power packs, winches, lifting structures, skids, and offshore equipment. Work closely with fabrication, machining, assembly, and testing teams. Perform engineering calculations and support product development activities. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for components and manufacturing requirements. Support installation, testing, troubleshooting,



and continuous improvement of products. Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 2–6 years of mechanical design experience. Robust understanding of fabrication drawings, welding, machining, and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanical equipment. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. This is a hands-on engineering role based at our manufacturing facility. Engineers work directly with fabrication, machining, assembly, and testing teams. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy practical problem-solving and seeing their designs built and deployed.
Preferred
Experience with offshore, marine, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or lifting equipment. Basic FEA knowledge. Exposure to offshore or lifting equipment standards.
