Key Responsibilities
Collection Operations
• Manage collections across Pre-Due, Soft Bucket, Hard Bucket, and Recovery portfolios.
• Ensure achievement of monthly collection and recovery targets while maintaining portfolio quality.
• Monitor delinquency trends and implement corrective actions to minimize roll rates.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews with internal collection teams and external collection agencies.
• Develop and implement effective allocation strategies to maximize collection efficiency.
• Drive digital and technology-enabled collection initiatives to improve customer engagement and recoveries.
• Prepare delinquency projections and recommend corrective action plans.
• Analyze collection trends and provide early warning indicators to the Credit and Fraud Control Unit (FCU) for
proactive risk mitigation.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve collection productivity and operational efficiency.
Agency Management
• Identify, onboard, and manage collection agencies based on business requirements.
• Monitor agency productivity, quality,
compliance, and recovery performance.
• Conduct regular business reviews with agency partners and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Recommend corrective actions for underperforming agencies.
Legal Collections
• Support the empanelment of advocates and legal recovery partners.
• Monitor legal recovery cases and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Coordinate with legal teams to improve recovery outcomes through effective legal strategies.
• Track legal performance metrics and recommend improvements.
Process Excellence & Compliance
• Ensure strict adherence to RBI guidelines, Fair Practices Code (FPC), internal collection policies, and regulatory
requirements.
• Strengthen collection processes, including payment reconciliation, documentation, and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate internal and external collection audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
