We are looking for a highly skilled Tool Design Engineer who is passionate about precision engineering, tooling innovation, and manufacturing excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sheet metal tool design, coupled with the ability to develop robotic fixtures and automation solutions that enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop press tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and robotic fixtures for sheet metal manufacturing applications.
Create and validate 2 D & 3 D designs using industry-standard CAD software.
Develop innovative tooling and fixture concepts for new product development (NPD) and production optimization.
Design and engineer robotic fixtures, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), and automation-related tooling solutions for welding, assembly, and material handling applications.
Collaborate with Production, Quality,



Maintenance, and Automation teams to improve manufacturing performance and reduce downtime.
Ensure tooling solutions meet targets related to quality, productivity, cost, safety, and manufacturability.
Analyze and resolve tooling-related challenges through effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Maintain engineering documentation, design revisions, BOMs, and technical records in compliance with company standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on tooling efficiency, process capability, and automation integration.
